The state can grant up to $2,000/employee and a max of $30,000 per funding round.

Export Internship Program Powers Possibilities

The Ohio Department of Development’s ExportInternship Program connects small and medium-sized manufacturers with students trained in export strategies.
For manufacturers, it offers tailored solutions to expand global markets, boosting competitiveness and revenue. Students gain real-world experience by applying classroom learning to business challenges.
This partnership bridges classroom theory and industry needs, fostering growth and innovation for manufacturers while launching students into impactful careers. The state also offers a 50 percent reimbursement of an intern’s wages.
